
The Assistance Fund helps people access life-saving treatment when medical costs become barriers. For their 15th anniversary report, they needed to communicate at national scale while honoring deeply personal patient stories. The challenge was presenting engaging data to drive fundraising, while keeping real people - not numbers - at the center.
We created a comprehensive printed anniversary report and a digital microsite for broader sharing. The print report balances data credibility with emotional resonance through custom watercolor illustrations that soften dense statistics. Each spread works as its own complete story: data visualizations, patient profiles, or timelines. The report features 15 patient stories (one for each year) that anchor the mission in real lives, while clean infographics communicate scale to donors. The digital microsite distills key highlights for quick sharing and online engagement. Together, the formats create a fundraising ecosystem that works across different donor touchpoints.
